Let me tell you first hand its very very real. Maid with husband and 2 kids. Husband lost his driver job in Delhi in may 2020 and yet to find one.

Household earnings for them cut by 70%

Govt should have put extra effort to lower price of fuel and gas, oil and essentials so people can make through this. They have done the opposite, enabled price increase everywhere. more

In Pandemic many people have lost the jobs. With the result house hold income has reduced. Medical Expenses have increased. Patrol, Diesel and Gas price has gone up. Vegetables, Fruits and Grossery prices have gone up. For Senior Citizens, interest rates have been reduced, thus their income has been reduced. more
There is no excuse for the government in going on increasing the oil price day by day, in order to generate revenue to meet the additional expenditure on account of COVID. more
There is no effort to check price rise .. and difficulties situation under covid period is adding fuel to the fire .. more
I failed to understand as to how drivers' job iwas affected by rise in fuel prices. Many drivers lost their job because of Covid fear among their employers. Drivers who had no other skill or were relectant to take up any other job had to suffer. I have come across drivers who after losing the driving job picked up job of vegitable vendor or mechanic or cycle repaing etc. or returned to their native places. more
Mr Manali kindly go through my post. I have reacted on the driver issue and not on the entire post. I am not a politician to have a one sided view but would certainly take into account Govt. view on any issue. more
wish you could read her msg in entirety Mr. Bhrgava .. it does not unilaterally talk only about fuel price but the entire essential commodities including fuel price .. sir being pro-govt. is one thing and being sensitive and reasonable is another thing .. more
The govt's priorities are skewed. Temples, statues, bullet trains cannot give either foof or employment. An intelligent, dynamic, finance minister is required. We should send a Citizen's Memorandum to the P.M. requesting him to appoint another finance minister with proven competence and high technical qualifications. We have had enough of the incumbent F.M. more
