The only way people will learn a lesson is when it pinches their pockets. Hefty fines and penalties should be imposed for not obeying the protocol. more

Rise in covid cases will happen when curbs are being relaxed since we, as citizens, do not follow protocols as framed by the government. And till such time, this will spread rapidly. I am of the view that strict penal actions must be put in place, lest citizens will not realise. This is what we experienced in the past. Secondly, pace of vaccination must be stepped up so that all eligible adults get both jabs at least before the end of 2021. This will hugely reduce the spread but along with people strictly following protocols. more
