May be since imports are not allowed, Indian Manufacturers keep a much higher margin and sell for a hefty profit because they know that prices are going to come down when sales pick up. more
Let us compare apple with apple. If the price difference is so highly genuinely, Indians will start importing the same like smart phones or the Chinese companies will put up Manufacturing units in our country. more
Items are not allowed to be imported. Even if you get the item, we have to pay heavy taxes so that the item cost will be the same as in the Indian market. We are forced to pay heavy taxes
for the goods manufactured in Inida and companies are also making huge profits from the sale of the items. more
No manufacturers of batteries in India only assemblers who procure all components of EV scooter and battery from china and assemble them in india as Make iN India product more
Very good question for make in India unless quality / warranty is more as EV battery should be backed up for 8 years on road replacement support?? more
Before comparing anything in India with China we have to be aware the most important fact. China does not allow trade unions (though they and their supporters are vociferous about the rights of workers in India. China is a much bigger coutnry with far more natural resources than India. So they can undercut most other nations and make profit of increased sales volume. Once they drive out other countries from the business, they can charge any amount as there will be no other competittors for them. Let us be very careful before comparing India with China. more
No. What has trade unionism done for India? more
