Wrong Product delivered by Delhi Seller of Flipkart, Buyer stuck with unwanted product, money stuck

Flipkart is certainly slipping in terms of delivering on orders andcustomer support. I ordered a product twice in July 2020, both the orders were accepted and payments were made, a few days later the seller cancelled both the orders, I was informed by Flipkart with respect to both the orders. The messages stating both order nos said "Refund Accepted and added to your original payment mode within two days", whereas one payment with respect to second order was credited to my credit card, the one with respect to former was not credited , this message was dated 09th July 2020. My creditcard statement still is not showing credit. Sent a chat on August 4, 2020 requesting a call at least. On August 26, I am still waiting for a call or info with respect to refund.

I ordered the same product again. The seller sent a totally different product priced at MRP Rs 300/- less (as per Flipkart's own listing), than what I had paid. On wanting to return the product, Flipkart washed its hands off saying the product is under "No Return" category.

The product I ordered was at an MRP of Rs 449/- and the one I was sent was at Rs 330/-. The Packing I ordered was Dark Green and the one sent to me is Dark Red. So the Delhi seller can not be said to have inadvertantly sent the wrong product. If the seller did not have the product, I could have been informed and money refunded to me. It was deliberate on the part of the seller.

This is cheating. Flipkart is not supporting me. I am stuck with a product I can not use and my money is lost. Flipkart is encouraging the dishonest sellers by allowing to deliver products at their whims and fancies, even if not as per orders. Flipkart and the seller have pocketed Rs 1503/- including Rs 156 for delivery charges and sent unwanted product which as per Flipkart's own listing costs Rs 1146/- including delivery charges at Rs 156

Please suggest what I can do

There is a plethora of complaints against Flipkart. It being the aggregator has full responsibility of ensuring that the product paid for is delivered properly and ensure refund in case of service deficiency in any form. Even laptops etc. are being delivered where the specs do not match with the one ordered and harassment is being faced for refunds. It seems consumer forums need to take strong cognizance and intervene in this matter. more

Did you check seller's rating? What does it suggest? more
Flipkart is slipping again in not screening its suppliers. It had few years ago admitted to be not very serious with regard to screening suppliers as they wanted to compete with Amazon I suggest you approach the online consumer grievance portal with the necessary sequence of events with supporting mails where possible. more
Don't make advance payments to online suppliers. Due the prevailing Covid situations, most of them become unreliable and if possible one should avoid placing online orders and thus becomes helpless victims of such cheats! more
