Wrong Rules by TRAI and benefitting DTH service provider

Dish TV gave wrong details while taking new connection. They told that Parent connection will cost full and child connection will cost RS 225 per month recharge. But suddenly they changed the amount and took full charged same as Parent connection. I repeatedly called to customer care they said TRAI has changed this policy. No result received after such long fight. Atlast the Cheater Dish TV had upper hand. I have to do the recharge of RS 2306 instead of RS 1424 . more

Please go on criticizing and condemning the TRAI and the government simultaneously for the blunder and injustice done to the TV viewers every moment and in every fora even if such fora are unrelated to the issue. Let he government realize that we are no more prepared to accept such injustice silently compelling it to bend and roll back such unjustified laws & rules. more
Nothing to get surprised, Millions of subscribers are facing the wrath of DTH service providers. TRAI had made the system mess. It's an organised loot with the support of Govt. agency. Nobody bothers for the subscribers. No response from any agency. TRAI sometimes placed some borderline message but of no use till now. more
We are watching only a few channels, but have been paying for the unnecessary un-watched channels. It may be time consuming to start with, but we need to tailor make out packs as per our need and pay for only channels watched/needed by our families. This will resolve the problem to some extent. MR RAMAMANI is right, most of the channels are owned by foreigners, we should limit their loot. more
Dear Mr Todi: Frankly, I am surprised that you have been spending about Rs 1424/ towards Tv viewing at your home EVERY MONTH..!!.. This has now come to Rs.2306/ now. I feel, the first and foremost action to be taken by us, as the aggrieved, would be to cut off Tv viewing or CURTAIL our Tv viewing. This would bring down the TRP of the Channels and would bring down the Advt. rates and would ultimately bring the d2h operators down to realistic levels. In fact, most of the Channels have been making unthinkable profits from Advertisements and have been transferring them to their HOME countries as foreign exchange. CAN WE NOT RESTRAIN OURSELVES A LITTLE AND CUT THIS DOWN..??.. Regarding other options, the d2h operators would always blame it on TRAI and since, you have no written commitments from the d2h operator, it may not stand up in a court of law. So, Please weigh your options and proceed further. more
Under this present government, all government departments are working for the corporates and not for the people. Vote or money? Only money... money.... money more
