I am impressed with how consumer affairs is engaging with people so far. Service Charge is a bold move. Hope they abolish it and not give into hotel and restaurant wala. any ways taxes are so much, indian consumers things 4 times before planning an eat out.
Fleecing of consumer by retailers particularly of daily needs like fruits and vegetables being sold without any control on retail-pricing, which invariably ranges from twice to four times of wholesame costs that the retailer incurs at APMC markets; That seems to be no governance in that direction;
Keep up the good work.
This ministrys helpline has recently connected to the consumer local circle and is actively giving information to people. Time will tell if they are serious about solving ppls problems or just a one time affair
