Department of Consumer Affairs

Consumer ministry is like a dead elephant. No department works. Take an example the cooking gas agency does not supply cylinder ordered for 20 days then the question is there is no shortage of gas cylinders then where the ordered cylinder goes? The agency does not answer and the area marketing manager does take calls and does not answer mail? What the ministry is doing. Why such arrogant agency continues? What is the interest of the officers?

No regulation on exploding & mushrooming E-Commerce Companies. Some are really cheating by supplying sub standard and defective items and not refunding the amounts due to Customers.

No effective controls on e-commerce portals and no control on MRP of several products. Consumer is left and right cheated by substandard products in the market

Other than starting a circle on localcircles and catching lead in maggi (supposedly) what else has been done here???

All theoretical advertisements- without guiding what to do in case of overcharging by PUC centres/ charging more than MRP by filthy highway side shops, Date of Mfg./ expiry not easily readable. Builders duping crores. The clerc at land line No. of the ministry does not know what to do if Desigee/ Milk /Butter are unscrupulous/ harmful. Does any one know where to contact for sample testing of eatables?
