looks like our babus either they want to please someone and are hand in hand with them or lack knowledge on what to do.We need to have in the group who is knowledgeable FM is not the right choice for it and lacks basic knowledge of it and goes by what babus says .Maybe she is a clean hand but she is dependent on the babus in the dept who act according to their whims and fancies very sorry state of affairsThey have removed all concessions to sr citizens and aamaadmi who are struggling to meet their ends meet with such high inflation levels more
Agree with you. Babus are making GST a very complex system to ensure corruption thrives. It is unfortunate that GST Council which is comprised of Union Finance Minister and State Finance Ministers is being taken for a ride. The reason could be that they do not understand that they are being made a fool by Babus or are so preoccupied for maintaining their ministerial position that they have no time for any thing else. To give one example the Input Tax Credit (ITC) system devised by Babus is resulting in massive fraud of more than Rs.2 Lakh Crore which was detected. Why Babus can not be instructed to work out GST rates without ITC to make it a Simple and Good Tax as envisaged by PM. Apart from Popcorn the 18% GST on members contribution towards common expenses is totally unjustified and unconstitutional. When we raised our voice for exemption from 18% GST the monthly contribution limit was raised to 7500 from 5000. It is held by High Courts and Supreme Court that Cooperative Housing Societies are no business entities. more
truly said.It will take years to rectify the issues and as you can see still it is going on There should be someone from the aam aadmi in the council so that normal citizens who consume basic necessities items can be kept at no tax and only people who consume luxury and sin items can be taxed but only ministers are there and whose worth are in crores and how will they know what ordinary citizens eat and how difficult it is to get two square meals a days .In any forum aam aadmi voice is curbed We should protest and make govt to accommodate a common man in all major decisions effecting them more
28% GST on non -working of Parliament MP's should be mandatory as it's sucking the taxpayer's money . 38% GST on ruckus created by MP's in the Parliament . 48% GST on MP's in lying about the data and misleading the nation about Falsifying the stats more
While GST may have areas for improvement, it remains significantly more efficient, transparent, and business-friendly than the old indirect tax system. Continuous adjustments are part of the reform process, and constructive feedback helps refine it further. Instead of dismissing GST as "complicated," efforts should focus on making it more user-friendly while appreciating the strides already made. more
