Bangalore Police

Bangalore traffic management is the worst in the whole of India. There is no lane discipline. Ambulances are not given the way. And there is hardly any one who can control and direct the traffic.

The traffic police do not concentrate on their core job of Managing traffic efficiently but are more interested in periferal jpbs .....which is ok but they must keep the traffic flow as the first priority. All over Banaglore we can witness traffic jams at anny time in most areas. The police are not to blame as the infrastructures are poor and their is a complete lack of planning in accessing the roads from lanes and side lanes which must be controlled like in other cities which are better managed . Govt apatthy is the main cause. Traffic policing in Banaglore is a tough job but it can be improved.

No parking, driving and talking on mobile, signal jumping, one way violations, footpath violations - all these go unchecked. What the police is doing only managing traffic and checking papers. this is of no use. Instead they should be implementing traffic rules. In my area, Basavanagudi, rarely are any of the violators punished. Several photographs, suggestions have been given to them, but there is no improvement.

Signal jumping,one way violations,driving and talking on mobile, triple riding, polluting vehicles, overloaded trucks, wrong parking - none of these are seen by the traffic police. They only stop two wheelers and check their papers and extract money

Bangalore Police & BBMP, BWSSB and PWD departments. They are struggling to handle this traffic because of infrastructure planned or built . Buss stop placed on starting and ending of bridges , subways, railway crossing gate before and after the LC gate etc. Roads are not wide and traffic police is not helping to have the parking to be done with discipline . a must rule that right hand side of road should be used by fast going vehicles and middle would be for medium and left for Bus, lorry and ape autos, bullock carts etc. The roads are not maintained well and traffic signals are not working. we should have 24/7 signals available and people who are not following should be fined. Huge traffic and cross lane penetration happening which the bangalore police is not bale to control. it is very bad and not properly reulated
