whenever the signal lights are manually run the traffic jam is too high [mostly due to error of manual run. Better to keep them automatic always . Gorgunte palya [near Taj Vivanta tumkur road is becoming worst now a days. Bus stop in front of people tree hospital and in front of taj are making lot of Jam There are better alternates.

Considering the huge 2 & 4 wheel vehicle population, small roads, innumerable digging of the roads by various agencies who do not complete the job quickly, non availability of footpaths to pedestrians, etc, traffic police are doing a very good job in Bangalore. They are generally helpful. No doubt, there is corruption. Traffic management for VIPs is managed well without much disruption to other road users. Signal management is very poor. When traffic at a junction is low and during nights, the signal should be switched over to flickering amber. In such situations, motorists tend to go through in red and could cause accidents. Management of signal timings and synchronization of series of signals requires improvement by proper studies.
