Several states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh have banned online school classes for children in Grade 5 and under. What should be the way forward?
Lockdowns are imposed to arrest the spread of pandemic which is taking gigantic strides. It is done with public health interest . But school children can't be denied their scholastic development though big crowds are not advised in campuses or class rooms . The online and zoom facility is being utilized by forward thinking schools . There is no need to put a spanner in the spokes . Let those go ahead . The students shouldn't get rusted like our politicians and burocrats. The online education should continue for students . Now the problem is not all have access to the net and zoom facilities .
SO THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT MUST HAVE A TV CHANNEL EXCLUSIVELY FOR THIS PURPOSE; THERE SHOULD BE TIME SLOTS & CHANNELS FOR DIFFERENT CLASSES AND GO AHEAD WITH THE ONLINE CLASSES THROUGH TV ALSO . ALMOST EVERY HOUSEHOLD HAS TV . SUCH OF THOSE WHO DONT HAVE AUTHORITIES MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR STUDENTS IN CLUSTERS , FOLLOWING THE NORMS AND PASS THE BENEFIT OF SCHOLSTIC DEVELOPEMENT .
