The point raised and accepted for increasing the number of seats in Tatkal quota is not correct. The people who book ticket long back should have adequate seats. By increasing seats in Tatkal quota will affect the general quota which I strongly oppose. more

Instead of increasing the Tatkal / VIP quota in III A/C entire Tatkal / VIP quota in III A/C class and II sleeper class should be made available for regular reservation system. I think almost 50% of total seats are marked for Tatkal/VIP quota. Why to burden general public to pay more for Tatkal tickets that too without Senior Citizen concession ?. more

Vinod is correct, railways is deliberately increasing tatkal seats to get more money, that too tatkal didnot allow cancellation. Railways is minting money through tatkal, which is bad for a governament funded organization. more
