15 pct school fee refund for 2020-21

Please find attached Allahabad High Court order from yday which mandates that every school must refund 15 pct fee charged for year 2020-21 as classes were online.

All LocalCircles members who are parents with school children in 2020-22 if they want 15% of amount paid back must come together and file similar petition in their state high court demanding refund. High likelihood they will get a similar judgement. more

Poor would face far-reaching consequences. Schools becoming richer undoubtedly. Do an audit. Nations employability demographic and even psychographics could change, meaning developmentally weaken.. education, being a long term investment. more
Schools saved hugely their overheads, such as janitors, electricity, refreshments for staff, to name just some, while also saving the free mid-day meals expenditure for the students who are economically weak. The rich, colluded in demanding the shift towards academic sessions online, wherein teachers used their own resources for teaching, while schools simply collected the fees. No social distancing hybrid classes were even tried. No adoloscent gets COVID, despite continuing mingling with their peer group within their home precincts. Wrong therefore got institutional nod, even from government. Poor students simply, became school dropouts. Shameful. Dickensian wrong! more
