Dear Local Circle Manager, I fail to understand how sharing the link leading to the Report on Outages will provide any relief to the average citizen. Addition of any further data doesn't add to the relevance of your report. Instead, the Report should be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities. The political executive in States must be told by Central Government that it will be held accountable for lack of immediate and long term improvement. more
Better supervision and control is required in usage of power in public places like streetlights, offices and misuse at public and private public functions. Promote renewable energy sources. more
Whichever chief minister is giving free electricity to people at the cost of taxpayers' money, that CM MUST be arrested immediately and whipped mercilessly every day in the jail. If anything is to be given free then money for the same MUST come from that party's own funds. more
Due to competitive dirty vote bank politics, corruption, non-accountability, free power, power theft. etc. all Electricity Boards are in the red. Neither they are able to buy coal or power from the available sources in time. All State Electricity Boards should be privatized on war footing to stem the rot. The State governments, if want to dole out free/subsidized power, they must pay in advance to the power discoms. Power theft be treated as criminal offence and the accused be sent to jail for atleast 3 years without bail. more
It must be clarified to people that the Power cuts are not due to power shortage, but due to inability of State Governments to pay for the power they need. more
