5 acre land give away for every Dalit

People like Jignesh Mewani are out of there mind when they say they will form nationwide alliance for Dalit and demand that every Dalit gets 5 acre of land.

This is ridiculous at best and being done to provoke people and divide people on caste basis.

There are so many poor people in other castes as well who work hard all life to make ends meet and only a few of them are able to make a house or buy 5 acres of land.

Demanding that as a right because you are Dalit makes zero sense.

Shame on you Mewani and your divisive politics. Ask for education of all Dalits instead. more

If INDIA is a ''secular nation'', nothing initiated by either State of Central Govt., should be based on religion, caste or creed.. Anything other than this is ''unconstitutional'' !! Even the reservations have crossed their 'time limits' decades before and these are all still prevailing ONLY BECAUSE THE POLITICAL PARTIES IN INDIA ARE SPINELESS!!! Give support ONLY to the deserved... more
Giving money or land should be based on poverty levels only. more
Every thing is for political gain. Those people who grown with the help of reservations are not ready to lose the benefits under reservations. The people who reach to the top slots in India as President, Central Ministers etc., are not at all be ready to leave their benefits for their families. If we can see the utilization of these benefits that they are cycling in some families only and not reaching really deserving people in the reserved categories also. The demand for reservations is getting more and more. Even chief ministers are proclaiming and demanding reservations on the basis of caste population. Then how can we expect merit based transformation in this country. The demands for more reservations, benefits for reservation castes etc., are though cheap populist measures, still they are getting votes, thus all politicians and parties are asking for or not touching it. Just for the matter Mr. Mewani who is an MLA now, willing to lose reservation benefit further and allow others to utilise. Certainly not. The Govt. of India asking people to give up benefits of LPG, Sr. Citizen railway reservation etc. but not asking its MPs etc., to give up their reservation benefits. This is India. more
There are really needy people in all walks of life. Irrespective of their caste, the deserving people should be entitled to Govt. benefits to come out of their poverty. No one can get preferential treatment. The Govt. spends tax payer's money and must take a consent from the tax payers before spending it. No party or religion or caste considerations please. more
Other than choicest expletives these people do not deserve any better. We have created through caste politics and appeasement, several Frankensteins like unconstitutional favors to some, reservations for the undeserving and abuse of merit. We want to be a superpower where the backbone of the society, the educated middleclass is being taken for granted and crushed. Time we started a campaign, like in the US, no form should ever specify, gender, caste, religion and mother-tongue. Whenever mentioned a form should be rejected. The country handed over politics to mostly rogues and lumpens and hence their way of getting attention is by creating nuisance by instigating various groups. This is another one such instance. The politicians are constantly dividing ingnorant citizens as they know if people unite, none of these fellows will last a day as a leader. more
We want to see a Unified & Developed INDIA free from any bais of Caste Creed Region or Religion more
