9 in 10 face call drop in India

Excellent work LC Manager on escalating this call connection and drop issue.

Most amazing thing is Govt let them increase tariff without any accountability.

Our circle survey is so reflecting the reality i see even the media cannot ignore now. I am in Jaipur and Hindustan Times has a story on the LC call drop survey.

Keep pushing members! We together are the hope of this nation. Never hesitate to escalate an issue, how so ever uncomfortable it may be.

The issue is consistency. In some parts of the country the networks are good for a particular operator while not so good for another. For example its virtually impossible to use the Vi network in several parts of Odisha and Telengana. Jio and Airtel are better placed in most parts of the country barring certain pockets. BSNL/MTNL are more absent part of teh time than present in many places. Call-drops are not unusual and if you are moving around then you will face it for sure. Those who are located near well-covered areas are unlikely to face such difficulties. Service providers are improving their coverage but one cannot say that it measures up with the standards in developed countries. On data transfer speeds, none of the operators meet benchmarks most of the time. 9 out of 10 must be the all-India ranking. more
I am not facing this problem with 4G jio connection. I don't think 9/10 figure is realistic otherwise consumers will be on the roads. more
Well what do you expect? more
media does not highlight any issues which consumer faces and same is with TRAI which is supposed to be regulating but they are hand in hand with the operators. They made a mess of the cable network and now mobile .Either TRAI should abolised or the team should be sacked for creating confusion with the public and a new team who are responsible towards customers need to be endorsed . more
