persons sleeping on the upper berths find it difficult to know which station has just passed and if they have to get down in between then it is even more difficult, esp in the night when they cannot sit on the lower berth to know when their station comes..so a digital board displaying the next station should be there in all the coaches, not just A/C coaches.... more

There is lot to be done apart from stations, platforms, trains and unmanned crossings. Who will take care of the tracks across India. Most of the accidents happen when rural people come to attend nature's call. They should be provided with toilets and educated that railway tracks are the lifeline of nation and they are responsible for their cleanliness. They should keep vigil that there are no thefts of the tracks and sleepers. Govt should come out with some incentive so as to make every citizen responsible for tracks being kept safe and neat and clean. more
