Aadhar Program - Inputs on Issues and Root Causes

Some of you have written to us to take up this subject, some have outlined concerns around fake Aadhar cards. With this post, we would like to seek your inputs on Issues and their Causes experienced in regards to Aadhar.
Once these are known we will conduct a separate discussion on Solutions and put together a whitepaper for the Niti Aayog on how to make the card, its integrity and application more effective.

Aadhar card is a good conceptually but not fool proof because temporary employees are enrolled by the Contractors. They don't know the significance of this card and many a times loose their integrity for few bucks. So every tom dick and herry can have Aadhar card and can become Indian Citizen. The Aadhar card team have harassed a lot of Senior citizens of India who are pensioners. No body can have a solutions to that as Any country can not avoid this because of one common feature of human beings i.e. Lust for Money. These kind of schemes are good in Ideal conditions that hardly prevail on this earth. more

The aadhaar authorities do not send the aadhar letter. Thy ask the applicants to print the e-aadhaar themselves. It is not possible to for every one to print them from their site. They should send the letters to the applicants. They are very slow in their response. The help line quite often does not respond. more
