Addressing Trespassing on Tracks: Addl Inputs

Below are your key inputs to address trespassing on railway tracks. Kindly review and share any additional inputs you may have for the same.

We look forward to your inputs!

Solution Inputs for addressing Trespassing on Tracks

1. Ramps should be put on railway stations so that people on wheelchairs do not need to get on the tracks
2. These ramps could be overhead as well as underpasses
3. Elevators should be installed to get on to the foot over bridges to cross the tracks
4. Battery cars could be operated on stations so that people can transfer from one platform to the other easily
5. Foot overbridges should be made on railway crossings and unmanned crossings
6. Walls should be erected on both sides of railway crossings so that people are forced to use the foot over
7. Fines should be imposed on people crossing the tracks, especially on the stations
8. 6 feet high fences could be put up 50 meters on each sides of railway crossings
9. The crossing gate should be covered up from the bottom so that no space for bike is left to pass under it
10. RPF should be made responsible to make sure that no one is crossing tracks on the stations. more

I guess this matter is too trivial to look into. This will involve lot of extra cost, and many poeple use the platform end routes when the luggage is heavy. While crossing tracks all should be cautious. Let there be rule like it is their responsibility for safety when they cross tracks. While crossing roads, this does not come into picture, but while crossing tracks, they take this more seriously even if there is gap between trains running. For stray cattle cases, in most busy routes, fencing along lines is done, which is OK. We cant think to so low level, and spend I guess. more
Fines should be hefty so that people are discouraged from crossing the tracks. Also ramps and elevators are required urgently at least in major stations to enable senior citizens to use train travel. more

Keeping in mind the introduction of bullet trains, there has to be six feet high walls on both the side of the train track. Under pass or over bridge has to be there in due course. more
Under passes and Over bridges plus fine if still people do not change more
