Adulterated Food during Festivals

On Thursday, in Noida, they found 100kg adulterated Khoya.

Last week in Borivali, a shop owner was caught with 31 lakh worth of sweets, adulterated.

Couple of Months ago, 450kg sweets were found adulterated in Indore and 10 quintal of khoya found this week.

In Ludhiana they found several shops selling sweets contaminated.

This is all over India.

I have a request. Don't buy sweets or diwali delicacies that sell them by weight and loose.

Most of them are adulterated.

If you think I am ruining Diwali of shop owners by posting this, you can go and buy. But please don't consume those products. more

Sweets are adulterated in India not only during Diwali or any other festival season but throughout the year because of greedy and dishonest shopkeepers, negligent consumers, corrupt officials of the concerned government agencies, flaws in laws, and undue delay in deciding the cases in our courts. There must be provisions for stringent punishment for committing crimes like food adulteration. more
This is a fact. Few months ago a sweet shop staff or owner collecting all sweets fallen on publuc footpath and filked on the pot. In another case of well named shop, dead flys were seen, which the staff took out by hand and placed in the showcase. As long as corruption and corrupted politicians exist, such adultrations will continue. As suggested bt a member in this mefua, better to avoid buying sweets from shops. EITHET FDA or other weight measures or testing labs not implemented date of manufacturing, net weight, batchwise analysis report or ingredients, expiry date and shelf life for all sweets or fried products in printed form as dtamped details as rubbed in old stock and new expiry details ❤️ are stampef. more
भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत के अनोखे और शर्मनाक उदाहरण। more

Government must take stern action to avoid adulteration. more
