So let's try something that works, first stop giving power to middle man, two more easy transport and access to small farms. Free market and not the government can do anything with the issue. more
As per PM Modi in 2014, he promised to double the Income of the Farmers. Therefore the Vegetable Prices are bound to rise, otherwise how their income will be doubled. more
This is nothing new.Every year vegitable prices go up immediately after the rainy season. As soon as new crops is started to come in the market, the prices come down. more
The trend is nothing new. Now a days price hike is quite stiff. Such bad practices only benefit middle man & traders. No way to benefit farmers. Govt. should be active to discipline the business man. Otherwise; the trend will continue and common people will remain the sufferers. more
Government infrastructure is not capable to deal with complete supply chain from farmer to customer even e marketing channels are exploiting the situation Vegitable market is controlled by one section they are capable to create artificial shortage in festival season inspite the fact that farmers are not able to clear their stock therefore all Panchayat may come forward and take step for marketing of all agriculture spices from village itself more
