Aifare issue escalation on LocalCircles

I dont think there is any other network in the country where people can express or outline bigger problems and see a solution so sincere thanks to all members and LC Manager.

The issue of exorbitant fares is real and I am glad that minister has instructed airlines to address this but as usual the day of the train accident here in Odisha airlines again went on their loot spree disregarding the minister. See attached.

Let us all join hands and get this sorted. Both fare cap and bereavement fares are needed. Personally know some one who had a family member from Bangalore injured in accident and paid 25K to come to Bhubaneswar. This is not ok. more

There is an urgent need to cap the maximum air fare, particularly, in domestic routes even for tickets purchased at the last hour of the journey dates. more
Smita writing that the minister has instructed the airlines to stop charging exorbitant opportunistic fares will never happen. It is a good post display in the media from the ministry for us general public and citizens. In fact from any ministry or govt dept assurances and directions for relief and sops to the general citizen is just on the surface. 1. air fares ! 2. seperate lanes for entry into any airports. 3. Parking of the'offocial vehicles plus their security' is very evident at any airport ! There are many small small issues which affect us general tax paying citizens for the comfort of the elected !!! more
Both the Minimumand Maximum prices must be fixed for every route and all airlibes flying the route must abide by it. more
The Civil Avi Minister must act and ensure that air fare is brought down by atleast 25%. more
first of all if the ministers were doing their job in the interest of customers then there should be a law saying that exhorbitant charges should not be charged like earlier and be penalised and they should not be waiting for LC to report and if LC fails to reports then does this mean that ministers will not take any action and airlines can do anything they want.If some regulation was there then similar thing should not happen and a rule should be placed now .Also for uber and ola auto etc also some ruling needs to come more
