Alarming and worrying situation in Joshi math

The news channels are reporting about the deeply worrying 'sinking' situation in Joshi Math. Shri Badrinath Dham, one of the holiest and most sacred Dhams and part of the revered Char Dhams is just 50kms away.
Pray for the safety and protection of our Divya Dhams and holy Temples. If the situation is perceived as being extremely dangerous by experts, maybe as an immediate urgent solution, to prevent a possible huge calamity, the entire region, the Mandirs could be shifted to another safe location. Hope and pray for the everlasting safety of the Divine Deities, Mandir in Shri Badrinath Dham, one of the most important, sacred and most worshipped Dhams. more

Entirely a man-made disaster. The highly weathered gneissic rocks made the terra-firma prone to sinking, as the rock's cohesive characteristics are low. Warnings about construction wherein blasting or excavating boulders could have severe environmental consequences, were given in the 1976 Mishra Commission Report. https://www.dailypioneer.com/2023/sunday-edition/joshimath-the-wage-of-sin.html more

Nature's warnings went unheeded.Apathy compounds Joshimath tragedy. Fact: tunnel boring machine excavated the head race tunnel - National Thermal Power Corporation's doing when their 520MW Tapovan Bishnugad hydroelectric project punctured an aquifer - date 24 December 2009! The portents followed into this. more
Imagine man's control over nature that even at the geological level, evolved over millenia, affects now visible. Unnatural changes showcase human follies. Well nature did give many intermittent warnings. Remember almost a decade back, Uttarakhand floods. Did man heed the warning? more
As a conspiracy theory, whether this sudden serious disaster could be due to China building some underground military base by rockblasting the Himalayas. Really worrying situation. Our sacred Char Dham Badrinath and Divya Shri Badri Vishal are located here. First priority should be to ensure the Deities and Murtis are carefully shifted to another Math or Mandir. Like Sri Ranganath Deity was carried from Shri Ayodhya to Sri Rangam. more
Heavy vehicles and the rich people's propensity to indulge in consumerism is a major contributory factory causing this. Polluting the environment with heavy diesel cars, and then living it up for the present, while making out with the future, causes such environmental degradation. Natives while earning from them, bear the consequences. Shelter a basic human, consttitional right. Cannot wish away the natives, whom we need when seeking manual services, such as horse owner taking tourists on horseback or pony rides along narrow hilly terrains. Rich should pay up. more
