Analytics to identify laundering accounts

Money laundering as identified by many of you and members of the Fight Corruption Circle has taken place post demonetisation. Laundering has happened through employees, jan-dhan accounts, property sales, jewelers, foreign currency and hawala trades, shell companies, farm supply chain and many other ways.

It is critical that while these funds are still in the bank the Government implements advanced analytics to find such accounts quickly without inconveniencing others.

With this post, we would like to seek your specific inputs on what should be the logic at the core of such analytics.

We look forward to your inputs! more

Millions of qualified and uneployed people there in our country why not replace corrupted goverment and bank employees by giving chances for new dedicated job seekers more
Now itself genuine Tax payers are suffering from many angles like price hick, want of funds from bank through withdrawals, Elders and working class inability to stand very frequently in the bank queues and loose their energy and life, etc. more
All this should be done without any knowledge of the banks, Govt. officers. politicians, media, etc or they will find loopholes and abuse it. So, who is left to choose from? a couple of young bright mathematicians, programmers, under the guidance of an ISRO scientist, isolated in a room for a couple of months and it can be done. more
Dear Mr. Ranbir you should file a case against the bank person - you could have got into trouble - thanks for sharing a useful post more
Some committee should be formed to go through such transactions. How much one can rely on tax departments. Otherwise only genuine tax payers will suffer. more
