Yes, these Variants were informed to the world as early as October 2020, now they appear as Double and Triple Mutants.
The matter of concern about these VOC’s are ,
* they are not only identified to be linked with Increased Transmission(Exponential spread more as we witness now),
* they are also known to evade diagnostic tests,
* some of them seem to be evading antibodies, also being positive even after double inoculated.
These are all matters of concerns for the Indians and the humanity at large. So the research should focus on,
NEWER TESTING KITS THAT WILL NOT ALLOW THESE VOC’S (variants oc concern) TO EVADE THE DIAGNOSTIC KITS. And as more research is being done in the Field of Vaccines,
MORE EFFECTIVE VACCINES SHOULD BE CONTEMPLATED TO AVOID THE VARIANTS DODGING THE INTIBODIES & VACCINES.
But nevertheless, must follow the Virologists Advice to
Mask when going out,
Social distance to be maintained,
Hand wash frequently
Avoid gatherings.
AS WE FAILED TO DO THIS GOVERNMENT HAS IMPOSED LOCK DOWN. Even after the Lock down is lifted we have to maintain the above for some time, keeping mind the new might gained by the Mutants & to keep them at Bay. more

These 4 months little more than 3% o population, that is over 4 Crores of have been fully vaccinatted with the 2 Vaccines that were available diring the period. As the headline says that the vaccines that was given during these 4 months are only 50 % effective against the Variants. SO IS IT NECESSARY TO TAKE ANOTHER VACCINE THAT WILL BE MORE THAN 90% EFFCTIVE ON THE CURRENT VARIANTS ? China is the main suspect and we are the sufferers. So, we cannot forget China. Meanwhile, suggestion made here by the hon'ble gentleman Shri Daniel needs to be looked into at the speed that it demands keeping in view the urgency of the case. more

My dear friends forget about China and Russia during this DOUBLE AND TRIPPLE MUTANTS: Let us restrict our fight just beteen the Corona Mutants and Indians now; and to save ousrselves first and then our Country men and their Families. Towards this, REMEMBER THE SIX BEST DOCTORS IN THE WORLD : * SUNLIGHT (expose at least 30 minutes every day in an uncrowded placefor Vit D ), * REAST (the system to recoup to face the onslought the next day ), * EXERCISE(induce the secretion of the happy hormone Endorfin ), * DIET (easily digestible,nutritioous food with green leafy vegetables), * SELF CONFIDENCE (i is said that all diseases are due to psychomatic reasons 50/50 psche and physical; even infections have to be fought with a firm and confident mindset) and most of all, * FRIENDS (spend time with them meaasging, exchanging information and possible talk to the friend and relatives) Of course the approapriate behaviour to be adhered to the hilt.- We are folowing no doubt .As the Governments have started taking the stick on the violators let us do our best to inform the public in our own way to stop the spread. more

This is a very important post by Sri Daniel. I think, let us stop blaming China, let us start following what our own Government is asking us to do. Avoid going out unnecessarily, wear mask (may be an N95 and on top of that a surgical mask) if it is essential to go out, stay outside for the most minimal time, follow social distancing; even if we have to go open places within our own residence, wear mask if going out to courtyard and terrace. Take proper and healthy food, help others and most important do NOT believe the media as it has its own agenda. Follow only what the Doordarshan news says; they may suppress inconvenient news but cannot peddle false news as many of the private news media do. more
