B.1.617- Questions we demand answers to

I am so disappointed in our Indian scientists and experts of genomics. They took forever to figure out what was going on with this big massive wave across India. We had 216,000+ cases reported yesterday. Real number is probably 2 million cases for the lack of testing and reporting

https://www.localcircles.com/a/public/poll/given-the-massive-surge-in-covid-cases-in-india-the-last-2-weeks-especially-how-confident-are-you/8373621cxc7726

We need answers now:

If its B.1.617 causing havoc, how does this virus transmit?
Droplet, Airborne, Surface...

How long after infection does it show symptoms
1 day, 2-3 days or 4-5 days like 2020 strain or COVID 19

How much more transmissible is it?
B.1.1.7 was 50% more transmissible than COVID-19. IS this strain 100% more or 500% more?

What percent infected are asymptomatic?
IS it 50& or 85% or somewhere in between.

ICMR or NIV or whatever top research body, please get act together NOW. more

Saritaji - You need to understand that this pandemic is evolving one. Scientists are puzzled about its behaviour. So it is very difficult to answer your questions straight now as research is still on. Some say that this is airborne others say no. Hence it will take time to conclude. And in the process, research findings may change in due course. Nonetheless, one is certain is that we, as citizens, must follow appropriate covid behaviour and ensure others also to follow, besides getting jabs at the earliest. This will arrest the spread of the virus to the maximum. So let's create awareness amongst us. more
Good question, which the scientists can explain. It also should be reported as news items for the benefit of the public. more
Medical experts opine that in around 80% cases, no symptoms are observed as the corona virus is very clever and is dead set to achieve its target of population stabilization and the general public is extending help in this mission. We should desist from blaming the Doctors/Medicine manufacturers/Govt. authorities as the real problem is somewhere else. more
No Mask No Distancing creating havoc more
Let us first take responsibility for our own mistakes, before blaming authorities, scientists, govt, doctors, hospitals, labs etc. After the first wave NOBODY told us to stop wearing masks etc Do we not have brains to tell us to do what is good for our health & safety? Let us now at least stop this blame game. Whatever the virus variant the best strategy is still * Masking/Distancing /Sanitisation /Avoid crowds /Stay at home to the extent possible. more
Every Phone Call warning about Precautions of COVID. Those not caring facing CORONA more
hello, It is appreciated that You are not in this Queue. It is the Life . Life & deaths are having fixed time programme controlled by GOD"s Super Computer. It do not provide one sec. extra. No Any court put stay on it. The Peoples will die as natural death taken as a covid death. It is the Problem & fake , Godi media with fake social platform writers are doing cheap publicity with few supporters. Instead of writing all negative bull sheets try to write the ways to come out from the situation, it is better. By sitting in house , AC Cabin it is easy to write & blame to others but hard to implement the system when you find your limitation. No Vaccine act as a Life Saver in emergency. more
