better facilities to passengers
I suggest to employ at least two (2) persons in each bogy of a train, as travel assistant , who will perform following duties..........
1. make sure that passengers enter the compartment from one gate and exit from another , to prevent the chaos at the gates.
2. they will check the luggage so that no person carry large size luggage which make inconvenience to other passengers.
3. they will check the entry of without ticket persons.
4.they will help the senior citizens or sick people to enter or exit from the compartment.
5.they will ensure the cleanliness of the compartment through out the journey.
6.they can be employed as equal to home guard in local police, on daily allowance basis, and the amount can be recovered from the passengers like rs10/- or rs 20/- per passenger.so no Burdon of salary or expenditure on railway .
7. this will ensure employment to thousand's of unemployed youths.
8. in the same, a safai worker can be employed for each - 2-3 ( two or three) compartment to ensure the cleanliness to the toilets and wash basins.
9. I suggest that each of these persons must carry a mobile phone and the same no. must be given to each and every passenger on its ticket,
10. by these the journey will be highly comfortable as well as the railway will get more revenue , by inhibiting the without ticket passenger and charging the freight from passenger for over weight luggage than the normal permissible limit. more

Good suggestions! 7. This will create a lot of useful employment. Indian Railway employs a lot of people but doesn't use them efficiently, especially the securities and maintenance. more

Not Practical: 1. How can you nominate two persons from amongst the passengers without credentials to act as home guards to carry all duties to pertinent for a assistant TTE and then coax other passengers to fork out a payment for them. more
