Big Denomination Notes.

Can anyone give one good reason why big denomination notes of Rs.1000, 500 and 100 are not yet withdrawn till date? more

Big notes are still there so that there would be lot of transactions for which there is no account...if everyone supports removing the paper money then implementing better infrastructure should help things move quickly.... more

While asking this question I think you forgot rural India.There traiders can't pay for the agricultural produce through plastic money.The transaction there is sometomes in Lakhs. You may be a special case.Please send me xerox of your passbook and debit card on my e mail id which I am messaging you so that I can get one for my grand parents too. more

I have been using debit cards regularly for the past many years and did not ever face any server problem. more
