Bring Railconnect & UTSmobile app on iOS / iPhone

An earnest petition to the Railways to please bring essential apps like Railconnect, UTSOnmobile etc on iOS.
There are over 1 crore users in India who are using iPhone as their mobile device.
However, Indian Railways has been ignoring all these users totally.
Whereas Railconnect is available on windows mobile OS, which does not even have one fourth of total iOS users.

Previously the old irctc app used to work on iOS, it has been removed as well. The IRCTC website is not mobile friendly, neither do they bother to update the website to make it better usuable on mobile devices.

At this modern times when we book taxis, planes and even food using our mobile devices, this is an injustice to a particular segment.
Do note that this is not a sudden thing,
Railconnect was launched before January 2017 and iOS app was promised to come soon. Did not happen.
UTSOnMobile app came on Feb 2016, 2 years down the line our Railways could not even make an app for iPhone users.

In India there is a general thinking that iPhone users are usually uber rich or people who just wants to show off.
Please don't look into that debate, we still buy iPhone 5s / iPhone SE which are priced competitively and are the major reason for having 1 Crore+ users in India.

Total smartphone users in India : 340 Millions or 3400 Lakhs
Users using iOS devices in India : 11.9 Millions or 119 Lakhs
Users using Windows phone in India : 2.5 Millions or 25 Lakhs

These are approximate numbers taken from Statista.com.
I am not very good at numbers and can be wrong about it.
Details can be cross verified if needed. more

iOS users are around 3% of the total mobile users in India. Also, i believe the issue was that iPhone stores the user data outside the country on their servers and did not agree to the condition of storing the data on Indian servers. Apple works in its own way and does not listen to governments. Hence the government, which runs the Railways withdrew the app. more
I phones also to be brought under UTS ticket booking for the convenience of people with I phones more
Probably, the Railway slogan is "better late than never". more
In India there are many places where a single train can not go directly to our destination for that railway gives a blank paper ticket earlier at his counter for all the class but now day's this is stopped for 3rd AC and above classes, I would like to know why it's happened either train should go directly to every destination or blank paper ticket should continue  On Fri, Jan 19, 2018 at 11:15 PM, Sajal Basu wrote: more
It will be appropriate Railway may think for even normal mobile phone users not only for smart phone user, or come up with a simple device like Jio phone. more
