Unless and until honesty and integrity are not infused, you bring ocean of changes will not yield any fruitful results. It may even become bad to worse since the people (our abled ministers) whose powers are snatched or demoted will do everything possible to cause hindrance with his/her successors. Lets not forget our Ministers would like to win elections and remain in power is only sorry to say only for their own vested interest. Nobody has any love for the nation or development. more

In any case, Mr. Prabhu should not be moved out from railways at this juncture. In any case, it becomes a compulsion, he should be moved to Defence as lot of cleanliness and required their to identify non-core areas and implement corrective measures within a fixed time frame. Even the disposal or winding up of Ordnance factories should be a TOP priority as their performance had been far from satisfactory and no Minister/Babu could focus in this area. The quality/cost of products of all such factories do not match with that of private sector. Atleast 50% of Defence Budget should be used for upgradation of weapons as in the present day wars, the technology matters and not the numbers. more
