Can Delhi experience 60 degree temperatures

Its quite possible. See attached The ground temperature in some areas of Spain has hit more than 60C! (140F) Sixty C! This is no longer a "Holiday" destination - Spain is now a torturous sweatshop. You can't sustain crops in this heat for long - nor a society.

If we as a society dont take care of our forests and rivers soon 60 degrees can be a reality in Delhi.

Yamuna river is reminding us in Delhi of all the wrong over the decades. Lets wake up and become more responsible. more

Plantation is a must to escape such a horrific situation in our country. Though in this directions every year during July to September we read news of plantation of crores of plants by almost all the states but what is the end result ? Majority of the plants are either dried up during the summer for want of maintenance and watering or eaten up/destroyed by our domestic animals and the end result is only a few thousand or lakh. Annual plantation programme has become one of the main sources of corruption in most of the states. These issues need urgent attention of the concerns. more
If you are a resident of Delhi or India stop voting for parties offering Freebees. Take a promise from them of better governance and equitable justice more
Thank you Eliana. I guess Delhi people can travel to Spain to escape the winter chill. It would no doubt be cooler there too in December but bearable. more
