Car crash ratings are a good move

The Government move to introduce crash ratings for every car is a good move as evident in the Localcircles survey where most people with family and well to do enough to buy a car say that they want to refer to these ratings.

I want to demand one more thing and want members to comment on it.

This rating should be on the windshield in form of a sticker on the drivers side corner.

That way if my vehicle’s crash safety rating is 1 ⭐️ on a scale
Of 5 and I am going from Faridabad to Ludhiana I need to be mindful of all the precautions like sear belt speed norm etc.

What does everyone think more

Besides what has been stated we have to have at least double lane wide roads with hefty penalty for wrong side driving to minimize the accidents. more
Good Suggestion from Shikha, but I hope BNCAP comes out with minimum threshold rating for the car to be road worthy. more

Good Suggestion Shikha. I hope the authorities take is up. more
It is our life that is being protected with crash ratings and if people do not value their life then it is upto individual .Just because we get this rating does not meet we need to test the same by driving recklessly and drunk.Even if something happens to us it is only our parents and fly members who will remember us and not anybody else in this world hence we owe our life to our fly and parents hence we need to apply restraint while driving and keep in mind that there is someone depending upon us and who is waiting at home looking forward to our safe coming home.So it is a good step from the govt but ultimately we as responsible citizens have to act responsibly. more
