There is no Govt agency involved in fixing MRP.That is why all type of wrongful practices are available in the market. more
As per my knowledge, there are no Laws and regulations to fix MRP or prices of products. I have earlier also pointed out this. The manufacturers charge as per their will and wish. While Government may not fix the exact prices allowing them to charge premium for good quality, name and fame of the manufacturer, there should be a range of pricing. more
MRP System was opted only for befitting Businessmen though they know that it deprive very Citizen from Fair Price more
It is necessary private Hospitals - There should be ombudsman to listen complaints and undertaking unnecessary tests and procedures - Private Schools to be added more
Apart from the market competition, there are several products, which enjoys monopoly and a department should be asked to find out the pricing and fix profitability. more
This is what exactly needed. Earlier ethics and norms of reasonable profit margins WERE SET OFF while reducing I.T. from 55% to 30% ; and , after giving increase to FDI. more
GEM was an initiative to break cartelisation in Government tendering and the aim was to slowly bring all Government Departments in a web based app where there would be Open Bidding for any Requirement. It actually is a platform created to enable a manufacturer to get a breakthrough for supplying in Government Offices. However smart businessmen have found a way in beating the App and cornering the business deals with active collaboration from Government Officials. more
Neglect in controlling Carteling at Tenders and Contractors further given life with MRP whereby Carteling is set legitimate and legal . Supporting Businessmen were so preferred depriving the reasonable rate to general public which is against to Article 21, 41, 39 [c] . more
