I think, the most important thing we need is improvement in governance. For industry or any business runs smoothly when there is proper regulation. Regulation need proper governace. We adopted rules and regulations created by Bristish for their rule. At 70 percent ministries in India still follows that rules (may be with some changes here and there). Ministries like Defence, Finance, FA etc there may be changes, but there are 10s of other ministries and 100s of departments their rules and regulations are obsolete. If we want to improve our system, we have to look into people working in those departments, study their problems, study the rules and procedures they follow. The people working there at lower to medium levels can give productive suggestions and ideas to improve. There whereever modernization can be applied, good IT systems should be implemented. So if our all departments such efforts are made using modern concepts used in IT (Business Process etc) we can make the departments strong and efficient, thereby good, transparent governance and less corruption. more

We are in the era of interfacing the human beings with IT enabled services and the speed with which the interfacing it is difficult to predict the type of industries which can be thought off. One this sure the existing Industires have to update the infrastructure which will be in line with the improvements in the IT enabled industry. In the days to come the IT enabled systems can replace human brain and human work. I feel first and far-most change would be use of IT enabled systems will make each and every citizen to have a knowledge on the lastest developments and modify their industry as per the fast changing development and these development s will be short lived and the changes will be much faster than what we have seen during 1947-60, and 1960-80 and 2000-2010, 2010-2015. Here again we have 35% of our population are employable so we have to which industry can take them with the changes we foresee. more
