The BJP in its election manifesto today promised to convert the existing National Clean Air Plan into a Mission and focus on 102 most polluted cities in the country. It also promises to reduce the level of pollution in each of the mission cities by at least 35% over the next 5 years.

They may have not committed to 50% cut like the poll demanded but Clean Air Mission has been accepted and 35% if delivered will be decent.

I hope the next Govt continues to work with citizens like this one. more

It is no body's priority at present .Only talks and promises but nothing beyond this .We have statues worth millions or billions but zero investment on /in clean air projects . Sad and unfortunate . more
I think there is not enough to be jubilant about in seeing 35% improvement in air quaqlity in 5 years. Be it BJP or any other Party. If they wish they can do much better. Perhaps 102 cities need not be taken up simultaneously. Probably only 10 to12 cities be identified and improved by 35% in first two years and then lessons learnt are applied at another 100 cities or so for even better results. RYK. more
Pool promises are hardly taken care within 5 years tenure. more
so far no political party think about clean air BJP only think innovately more
