Citizen Choice for President of India
We discuss so many things in this circle and therefore I'd like to have a discussion on who is best suited to be next President of our country. Some names I have heard are: Sumitra Mahajan, LK Advani, MM Joshi, Draupadi Murmu, Pranab Mukherjee 2nd term, TC Gehlot, Sushma Swaraj.
Also senior industry people say names like Narayan Murthy, Azim Premji.

A person of proven eminence and integrity should be the future President, not certainly any politician or a person with political leanings. It is a good suggestion that a poll can be organized once the possibles are shortlisted. more

LC would have received lot of opinions from the citizens of India. This is very sensitive matter. The selection of the supreme authority in the democratic country. If there is no importance of the involvement of common man then why should we make poll on this subject. The selection of the President of India will be done as usual procedure. We will accept the elected celebrity. We hope there will be no disputes between ruling party and president. That's all. more
