Cleaning and Disinfection industry and chemicals - beware

A lot of cleaning and disinfectant companies have profiteered during the pandemic from the fear amongst people.

LocalCircles are generally ahead of the masses and is first signal to Govt in many issues.

Unnecessary cleaning and disinfection is now Unfortunately a widespread practice, a waste of public money and resources, with unknown damage to lungs of human being from breathing in all those chemicals.

The key is Improving indoor ventilation - by increasing air exchanges per hour. Creation of airinflow through doors windows air conditioning whateever it takes and purification of indoor air.

Can we please focus on that? more

Resource lacks substance and is quite unnecessary. If the disinfectant industry has thrived, it is no fault of theirs. I guess none has forced any purchase on any one else. As regarding breathing problems that they may create, they might have already created during wide use. If the concern is that such wide use must be curtailed, firstly no data exists how widely they were used and secondly the choice entirely rests with individuals. If the resource raiser has any specific data on which of the sanitisers are harmful, she could have enlightened that to the local circles. more

Cleanliness seems to be concept alien to many Indians. They dont seem to associcate filth with diseases .And like what the post mentioned cleaning done for the sake of showing that they are doing something rather than based on science more
Very true. Actions that were done, as posted on WhatsApp, were simply followed without understanding the way the virus spreads. more
