Cleanliness of coaches

Railways spend a lot of funds to keep coaches clean. They have contracted the job. Unfortunately there is no one to check. I have travelled in rajdhani express many times. They hardly wipe and clean coaches/ toilets. If u make a noise to coach attendent then they emerge and clean.
Railways should find a way to keep check on them more

As per My Observation the Cleaner has Fix timing to clean the coach as train carries 18- 24 coaches. Another the Peoples travelling from AC Classes are dirty & Lazy more than Ordinary peoples. They Kept their meal plates, tea Cups ,& Other waste under the seat or Corridor but not taking pain to get out From the seat & throw it in Dustbin. Some Peoples chew gutkha & Kept its waste in empty water bottle & kept Under the seat. but not taking the pain to put into dustbin. They Feel that since they Paid few thousands so it the Duty of clean labor job to Clean oftenly when they makes place dirty. The North & east Indians Ladies, Gujrat , Rajasthan sides are the worst. they Do not follow any ethics , rules . Selfish In nature. Indian rail carries such passengers having dirty attitudes. How the rail coaches will remain clean ? Indians are most dirtiest & undisciplined peoples in the world. I saw north Indians who kept the tissue on Last Floor of Eiffel tower in Paris , Caught in Camera & get fined heavily. they do not prefered to get into Q for boarding. see in domestic & international air ports of India & Major Indians Travels to India by another airlines. although their seat is fixed they will try to enter into middle in Q , Get insulted by foreign Crews . They ,makes the Clean Airplane Dirty during travel. These are the scenarios. Indians are well known to spoil any good system, whether it is trafic , Q for tickets , boarding , anything. The peoples should change their attitude first & then Blame govt. & service Providers. more
Only thing is missing is correct feedback and strict monitoring system and that is why still passengers are raising complaints instead of huge investment. more
I think the provisions for ongoing cleaning of rail coaches while running are still operational but its the fault of the middle men, means, those responsible to supervise the work who either do not perform their job or close their eyes on getting financial favours from the contractors concerned. The railways become complacent by allotting the job and spending the money. We, the passengers need to become more alert in the matter and lodge repeated complaints with the concerned authorities including the rail ministry regarding all deficiencies in cleanliness, foods and other services observed during our journey. But the problem with us is that we, the Indians, are too shy in lodging complaints until the issues cross all limits. more
I agree with Mr Shankar.... IRCTC / Railways Administration, please find a solution. I suggested in the past the following system: "Online Complaints Railways should provide mobile number for online complaints by passengers. The mobile number may be displayed above the wash basin (outside toilets) on both ends of each coach. Passenger should be given option to make online complaint during their journey. As soon as the passenger dials the mobile number, the system should provide the format for filling information such as PNR, complaint description; date and time should be picked up by the system. An acknowledgement no. must be provided on mobile of the passenger..... Alternately, Railways should provide an App for making online complaint. The App name must be provided on the ticket for downloading it....." I hope it has reached to IRCTC/Railways authorities..... more
