Color Code for Passenger Coaches

The railway coaches should follow a fixed color code. Each class of coach show painted with a different color from outside so as help passengers identify the coaches faster.
For example:
Irrespective of the type of train all
- First AC coaches should be of one color e.g. green
- Second AC coaches should be of another color e.g. blue
- Third AC coaches should be of another color e.g. yellow
- Sleeper Class coaches should be of some other color e.g. red
- Unreserved (General) class should follow some other color e.g. white
- Chair cars (Executive, AC, NON-AC) should be of different color each
Coaches marked for handicapped, ladies etc. should have different identification colors.

This should made a standard across the railways and will help passengers identify their coach much faster. more

Colour coding is good suggestion more
there is lot of gap between the platform level and steps of the compartment. it is difficult for the sr. citizens and children to get down. there is every possibility of children falling down. while carrying the luggage, there is scope of our slippers falling on to the track. why can't railways work to bring the level of platforms to the level of train door like metro trains so that it will be easy access for all passengers and also to carry the luggage. more
some times the gaps saves the life.Railway can provide flexible stairs in Bogies but who will take it back in the compartment to facilitate the train to run?. Patriotism, is required here where we are legging.! more
Coaches should be given at least 1 hour before at departure stations. Many times they are given only 20 mins. before causing inconvenience to aged and disabled like in howrah. more
Rialways, thinking of making Big stations Mumbai/DELHI A passing station .Like many trains passes through VASAI Road touching the Mumbai and not going to Mumbai. more
RATHER PEOPLE SHOULD BE EDUCATED ENOUGH TO ALLOW AGED TO EMBARK FIRST. more
very good suggestion .... more
