A seat should be fixed for TTE with a display showing up to date vacancy and same on display outside coaches which shows destination. more

On line ticketing should be promoted for general tickets also.No cancellation ,no ticketing after the time of departure of train. more

I think the most important issue affecting Travellers isTTEs misleading RAC/WL people that there are no vacant berths and making allotments to others by taking money illegally. This can be prevented by giving a right to WL passengers a right to get a no - room cert . by charging a nominal charge say, 2Rs specifying place and time. Any subsequent allotment can be traced to this certificate and the offender can be nailed. Same way retiring room malpractices can be stopped. more

I think online ticketing is stealing the opportunity of those standing in line at the booths for hours. Please keep two quotas, one for online and the other for window. Remember that while each person can have one computer, all the people in the line at the station only have only one or two windows for tatkal. more
