commuting easily from western to harbour railway

I live in Mumbai and for my work purpose, I have to travel from western to harbour via railway line. Its high time now and we have connectivity available only via buses if you are staying beyond borivli. There is an existing railway line till kopar and panvel from Vasai, which can be extended to thane with more frequency between virar and thane considering the number of travellers. I am not sure why railway has not given this a thought yet. Please do something about this. This should help a lot the daily commuters by reducing the travel time and expenses. Kindly do something. more

Is there a megablock for local railways required on central line every weekend, knowing that local railway lines are lifeline of Mumbai. Don't really understand what maintainance work goes on here and still there is no improvements as it is still crowded and not fit for travelling. As there are no other fastest mode of transportation available, ppl are left with no options. more
Yesterday, I left office at 9.30 pm and by the time I reach thane, there won't be any buses available for Vasai..or if there is, then there is lot of traffic at night on Mountain road before fountain toll naka. Its a nightmare to travel by that route as the road is full of heavy vehicles. Hence the other available and trusted option is travelling via train from dadar after changing three trains at harbour, central and western line. Whereas there could be a direct line from thane to virar and ease the commuters life and generate revenue. more
Inviting all the people from borivali to virar, please add your comments in support or suggestion in this regard. This will help us all and will make our life easier. more
People please support if you are facing the same issue. more
