The individuals whilst entering in itself should undergo rigorous induction course from 15 days to 6 months based on the cadre, before actual posting. They should execute a clear bond on the responsibilities & dereliction consequences. This should be considerd and implemented for proper results. more
Thanks Mr. Venkataraman. The total expense to Railways by posting a few hundred inspectors at major stations on all India basis also will ultimately work out to be negligible for the organization. If bribes are eradicated, the quotations will be of much less value and this benefit coupled with the Goodwill the Railways will gain, will be really be of great value to the Railways. more
I fully agree. Dedication to work and self discipline are very important aspects. But how to get it into the people / railway employees. Motivational training may be helpful to some extent. But ultimate is a far thing. But not impossible. It can be slowly entered into the minds. Once people from top start this practice and preach their junior ones to adopt it.
