Corruption in Judiciary

LocalCircles report on business bribery which says 66% paid a bribe in just last 12 months is eye opening.

I really hope the Government calls up LC Manager to understand the concern better instead of ignoring this data. That is if they want to make things better.

The survey covered all govt depts but it did not cover judiciary. Yesterday, one jaunpur judge was alleged to be demanding a bribe from someone who committed suicide in Bangalore.

Why should judiciary corruption not be brought to light?

Please share experiences friends. Only if we do we can get LC manager to take it up. more

Since judicial officers have got discretionary powers, they can pass any order for exchange of money with impunity. This must be stopped by changing justice delivery system of British Era. more
Corruption in India has become the way of life, the more you are corrupt, the more respect you enjoy in society, and people are little concerned about the sources of money one possesses. Until the trend is changed and the corrupts and their families are made to feel guilt in every walk of society, corruption will only flourish. Once the most respected judiciary being corruption-free is now reported to be one of the most corrupt institutes. This is alarming. If the people lose faith in the nation's judiciary system, there could be anarchy in the country. The government should, therefore, handle the situation on priority with iron hands. more
