Corruption in Policing and Property Registration

In my home state of west bengal corruption is rampant in policing and property registration and we as citizens must just pay up for our basic rights even. Be it doing a genuine FIR or registering a basic property.

Some days back I saw the Localcircles survey on inheritance and property transfer issues

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/inheritance-issues-survey

Can this be taken up by Govt of India?

These offices shud be like passport office where everything is outsourced to a large private company except the final interview and document check. And then this office must coordinate with state offices more

Corruption is rampant all over India. Neither Central or State Govts are serious in Controlling it. Even Politicians and their well wishers are benefitted from this. This is one of the source of HUGE BLACK MONEY. more
Please understand that property, be it commercial or residential is a state subject and the Govt of India can only issue guidelines to the effect but can't execute order on behalf of state. Unfortunately, there are lots of problems with the state govt and they don't listen to even genuine cases. You may have to fight it out or take the legal support. more
There were social media reports recently that the minister in charge of registration department in Tamil Nadu spent Rs 100 crores (to be verified) for performing the marriage of his son. How is this possible if the earnings are by honest means alone? No one, not IT dept nor ED seem to care. more
@Debashish You have brought out the malice existing in the whole country. There are stories that even Government Departments have to bribe these entities to get departmental work done. As suggested, Central Govt. does not have any role to fix these things. It is State subject. The Revenue and Police departments fall under the State Government. Consequently, it is the people of the state who have to act using their democratic rights to fix things in respective states. more
