Covid MRNA vaccines should not be given to 18-39 males

Yesterday’s letter attached From Florida Department of Health, "The State Surgeon General now recommends against the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines for males ages 18-39 years old."

America is in ridiculous position because they sort of mandated the vaccine here.

India should also do a similar study for anyone under 39 even children just to make sure its ok to administer the Covid vaccine to men, boys and children. Even women under 39.

Atleast if it hasnt been given till now it should be an informed decision more

Looks like the data was from a very small set and that the analysis may not have been that great. I read the paper and was surprised that they had not published the total number of patients studied clearly. Interestingly, this has not been picked up much by US media (I've not seen on the NY Times or National Public Radio - NPR). Here's what someone on Forbes had to say about this: https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucelee/2022/10/09/florida-surgeon-general-warns-against-young-men-getting-covid-19-mrna-vaccines-whats-his-justification/?sh=53aa6e944105 more
The paper doesn't seem to directly indicate how many people were involved in the trial. Also, the number of people with non mRNA vaccines is very low. Still early days. Remember that vaccines including the mRNA vaccines have reduced mortality from Covid significantly. Also - remember there are no mRNA vaccines being used in India currently. more
I am not too sure whether we, mostly common citizen, are competent to advise the authority (perhaps MCI) on what should be done based on isolated minor findings, which have not been accepted by the authority of their country. It is better left to our experts without casting any aspersions. more
While this is a welcome step by the Surgeon General of Florida, the damage has already been done with >70% having taken 2 or 3 shots.. This has got to be the first time ever in the world that all countries ran a co-ordinated campaign to push experimental products with no long term safety track records on their people. While one wishes such a study would happen in India too, don't expect anything realistically speaking as the PM has stuck his photo on each and every vaccine certificate. There's nothing to gain and everything to lose for him by conducting such a study (unless he publishes a feku/fraudulent results!) more
Which word(s)?
Or, are we not allowed to speak against the PM? more
