Data of 66.9 crore citizens stolen

Cyberabad police in Hyderabad has found that the data of 66.9 crore individuals across 44 categories in eight metro cities and 24 States, including 56 lakh people in Hyderabad, was stolen.

This is the biggest data theft ever. All platforms like Byju, Vedanta, defence people, govt employees, cab users, neet students, credit card holders you name it.

The personal data bill is still not approved after 7 years of discussion. Can LC manager please bring this matter into public and parliament domain.

If we dont act get ready for financial frauds of all kinds with this data. more

Theft of Personal Data is a serious concern. It is a need of time that LC should raise the voice against this crime and necessary provisions should be made in the law to provide a strict control on this theft. more
Certainly LC must bring this burning issue to he fore and knock the doors of Parliament urgently more
Parliament is not functioning .Whom to blame? who cares about problems of India .Political parties have there own agenda . more
Data theft of common people at various levels is a serious issue and our Central Govt.is not really serious about it. Nowdays for almost every small work banks, govt. bodies, school, colleges various agencies, pvt. companies also ask for pan and addhar card details under the name of KYC. And then theft of this data becomes very easy. You should ask for the concern Central Govt.Dept. to take strict action against it with cancellation of registration, freezing of bank a/c of those agencies who were found involved. Separate provisions should be made under Cyber secquirty law to handle such type of crimes. Asking for KYC details on mobile sms, whatapp etc. fruads are nowdays common. more
Data theft and financial fraud should be made criminal offense with 7 years jail and a fine of 200% of the amount involved should be the minimum punishment. No bail/parole be granted on any ground. more
