Data protection bill

So recently I learned that a rival hospital In Gurugram m had bribed the receptionist to click pictures of the registration screen of every patient. The patient would get a call from the other hospital *while they were in the doctor's waiting room*.

This is so very common in India. Front end or back end people or the business itself compromise our information.

What provisions are there in the new data bill if someone leaks my information and I have to proof to back my complaint?

What actions against the business?

What actions against the individual employed there?

The above LC report says banks and telco but its many others and the Govt employees who also compromise our data more

We have Rampant Corruption and people are not worried in doing wrong things. more
There has to be complete bill on Internet law. This was discussed by all countries last month 20-23 at Paris and agreed. Fake news, and insults, as well as well threats on life are propagated on hourly basis by news channels. They wants to become hero by making the threats more popular on lives of people. The countries have agreed to have a law asking for algorithams.Similarly the channels should have a board of governance on news broad cast and take responsibility for excessive propagation of one source. Education is key and 24 hours channels should have a period of 3 to 4 hours for educational reach. more

Since you have all the information and also the PROOFS. why don't you just make a complaint and find out the result of it? more
Why would the patient get a call from the other hospital? In the case you mentioned was the receptionist penalised? There is no privacy in most such establishments. There are banks in India who post the account numbers when sending information to the customers instead of partial account numbers. Once I wrote a cheque for a large amount. To their credit they called me to confirm. All they asked when I picked up the phone was to confirm my name. They asked me are you Mr. . No other authentication was required. When I questioned them about this they told me that they are doing their duty! more
