dealing with the commercial staff
No matter where one lives but has a dealing with the commercial staff posted at railway stations responsible for booking goods etc including perishable goods such as fruits and vegetables, collect an overhead over and above the freight charges. What surprises me is that this has been going on for ages, even the vigilance staff of railways must be aware, still nothing seems to be done to catch them read handed and dismissed from the services.
If what I have stated is doubted by any responsible person of the railways, they must verify by paying surprise checks at the booking centres. more

Computerization at every stage from booking to delivery may find a partial solution. Like train running status the goods movement status also be made available. People posted in vigilance me shifted more frequently. more

it is very unfortunate to read all the above and practices are from ages. Railway staff get huge salaries when compared to their work. also get bonus and pension or some thing like that. we accept corruption as way of our life. more

All the superior officers are party to the collection and distributed among them as booty. How come they will inspect such activities. more

Oh God, You do not know half of the luggage is transported without any booking and freight is shared by all including vigilance and Board. That is a standard practice. Board is running Railway for themselves more
