Debates conducted in national T.V. Channels

Debates basics and stipulated rules are not followed. Persons arguing are losing temper and shouting. It’s not intellectual’s debate but was shown idiotic arguments. The participants must be mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspectives. The participants must be great simplifiers, who can cut through arguments, debate and doubt to offer a solution everybody can understand. The debates in T.V.Channels are conducted with heated arguments and offering no solutions.
The people who try to win arguments are the worst. The point of an argument is not to find a winner it is to find the truth. In the recent debates in national T.V. channels, the remarks of participant have received international condemnation and wide spread protests. In the country the T.V. Debates are spreading violence and misunderstanding among people of different communities, religions and political parties. The national T.V.Channels needs introspection. more

When one is speaking, others must keep silence and hear it. But this is not so, there will be in between others will speak and make so much noise so that no body will understand. I have seen the debates in USA where when one speaks, all others will keep silence and will speak when their turn comes. more
Private money pumped into news channels and news papers and force the public with their point of view. All channels. News papers and participants ,in debates are paid artists, they act as per the script given. Journalism standards are at rock-bottom. With huge money they earn from advertisements, they least bother about readers/ viewers. more
This Govt. is having old peoples . Age is not factors but working style does. There is tremendous work is pending. in 7 years they cant put the main culprits in jail for punishment Only ED raids. 100 % democracy in never successful in any country. more
it is just a waste of time since whoever is wrong will never admit and only you will see the party spokes people how bad they are in their thoughts more
In my opinion the system of DEBATES on TV Channels should be STOPPED. These are basically nothing but means of spreading Information/ misinformation which the particular TV channel wants to spread, depending on who owns it. These so-called debates are COMPLETELY BOGUS. Standard Idiots are invited for such debates by various channels. more
No there should be more discussions on all sorts of topics on TV and Radio to reach the masses. That said we need to set the rules of debate before it starts. On Indian TV reports, and guests all are very loud and unruly. They need style and substance not shouting and drama. more
