Defining message of PM Modi to MPs/ Media

It seems he is plugged into our circles. Talk less and Do More. Message for media - stop chasing us for bytes and creating half baked breaking news.

Also implied is a message - Media should publish more public issues and stories rather than what Govt may be doing. They must publish once Govt is done with than may be this is coming after talking to some mantri/mp hungry for publicity.

Very apt! I think media’s open access to ministries at all times should be stopped and it should only be appointment based instead like any other citizen. many just simply hang out in sarkari office for a daily story. If they dont find one, they make one up.

Needs to change! more

Its impossible to force media to publish / report good work done by the government. today, media houses are driven by TRP and only negative or bad news becomes sensational. Today, practically, there is no news channels except for shadow boxing channels, dozen folks barking at each other. Only way good work can reach is through personalized streaming through mobile phones, also in vernacular languages more
